Book Cover Art

These will never hang in MOMA either, they're just more of the process. Having a graphic in mind while working on a book, helps to feed the energy and provide a focal point for the work. Naturally, a final cover is in the purvey of the publisher, these are simply mind stimulus for works in progress. All works are by Ron Chalice unless otherwise noted.

Miscellaneous Artwork

When developing a character, it's often helpful to have a rough sketch, or in the "Case" of Catherine Combes, a color painting as a visual aid to realistic writing. Sometimes, as in the case of Darcy Vanderwahl, more than just the image can change as the process advances. There are other things that just get "done" you'll likely find them here.
